I enjoyed so much making this bag, love every bit from picking up fabrics to finishing touch. In beginning looked like fun because I love making hexies but add the end I was just so overwhelmed the way it turned out.
I had plans to make two but it was slow process because it happend on school holidays here in Australia and didn’t had that much free time. My two oldest girls love this bag so I will have to make two more although maybe it will be good thing for them to make . There is lots of hand stitching and that’s who I learned as little girl to sew.
I used 5″ hexies ,Vintage Happy by Lori Holt for front and some scraps for interior of bag.
I had to lay out hexagons on my table and they looked great on my messy table
This is is top of the bag with some apple ribbons.
I love Dilly bag, perfect for projects on the go. Look how many suff can fit inside there is even more space for more chocolates- I have to take Magnum chocolate if I can take Magnum ice cream😄. Yes I admit I’m ice cream addict mmmmm ice cream.
And look at those pocket! Can you imagine how many threadspools can fit there!
This is how it turned out,Dilly Bag
And one for the end…
As I said few times already this is perfect bag for every use or present, every one of my friends would love this bag.
